Howdy folks, my name is Max Gould, and I am currently researching the Paul Bunyan Logging Camp located in Carson park. I’m from the Madison area so attending college in Eau Claire has been a brand new experience to me. Eau Claire seems like such a clean, safe and economically balanced city and I’m enjoying every minute here. Learning about this city’s past has been an adventure to say the least, I would have never pinned Eau Claire to be a logging city, judging from it’s incredible transformation. Finding about this city’s logging past has been time well spent. Less than a month ago, I was completely oblivious to the fact that Eau Claire has a museum and logging camp attraction, which made picking this topic an easy choice. I hope to learn a lot about this wonderful camp, and maybe even go visit the  site for myself someday!
