My first class went pretty well, but I couldn’t get the smart cart to work in order to show some information and some web resources to students. I got it figured out as class was ending and students were filling out a form to give me information about their previous writing experience. It turns out, quite ridiculously, that I didn’t have the monitor on properly. Lesson: even tech savvy folks make the most stupid mistakes with technology.
But otherwise, my class went well, for the first day and a new group who doesn’t appear to be too talkative. But that might change.
