So, I sent my ibook to Apple Care at the beginning of winter break, and they refused to fix it (well, they refused to fix it for free) because they claimed the screen problems were caused by user accident, not by manufacture defunct. I don’t fully buy their claim, but what resistance do I have against Apple? Not much. Today, with student loans, I bought a low-end MacBook, so as soon as I get my data transfered over, I’ll be the proud user of Compy III.
I’ll probably have to eat like a pauper this quarter in order to recover the costs of the laptop, especially since I’ve also got to afford to go to New York in March for CCCC, but at least I won’t get a headache from these screen problems.
Have you been able to resist the photo booth feature? Or do you have a bunch of comic book representations of yourself like I do?

I’ve thus far resisted the photo booth feature… but we’ll see how long that lasts….
