I just finished grading an hour or so ago and got my grades all in about 15 minutes ago. This is a refreshing feeling!
Especially after working with a student who didn’t know how to properly paraphrase and asking him to re-do his section of his final report, and having to deal with a student who seemed to be struggling with emotional issues and boundaries (more on this after much time has passed). This was, to say the least, stressful.
Now, to start jetsetting. I’m leaving for the weekend for a much needed break on the coast. Then, it’s onto a bus for Seattle, where I’ll spend the night, fly to Pittsburgh, visit a friend for a few days, take a bus to State College for my last campus visit, and then fly back to Seattle before next term starts.
Traveling over breaks always exhausts me.
