leopard

I missed my November posts on Friday and Saturday, so I’ll have to post three times today. This I am determined to do. Later. After I finish grading progress reports.

On a side note, I installed OS X Leopard last night, and so far, I love it. Except the installation deleted all my printers, and I spent a good half hour today in my office trying to re-set up the printer for my building, which mostly involved trying to find the IP address and set it up correctly. But I finally got it.

In summation, though, Leopard is pretty. I like it.

Do you feel that it was a necessary upgrade?

PS: When are you going to install comment subscription via email? πŸ™‚

Necessary? No. But it does run A LOT quicker and some things are more aesthetically pleasing. I haven’t had a change to play with it much. Mail seems to work better for me now, NeoOffice and MS Office both open much more quickly, and I think the way the windows in Finder look are slightly better. The main advantage is definitely the added speed.

PS: When are you going to provide service to my blog so that someone has the time to do things like comment subscription and change my font colors? You know, you could just subscribe to my comments RSS feed. πŸ˜‰

Or maybe I’ll find time during Thanksgiving Break to do such things. πŸ™‚
