My name is Anna Wischmann and I am a freshman at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire!

For our writing class we are required to write an exploratory essay. My blog is to help myself get a better understanding of my topic and get feedback from my classmates and others of what I have learned about the topic and to narrow down a research question which will help me write my essay.

Writing in my blog helps myself get a better understanding of what I want to look for when researching and what others are interested in as well. My topic is Sarah Harder. So far, I have found some background information that helps explain who she is. She was a faculty member at UWEC. She also made many changes for women. I am interested to find out what she was all a part of and how much she really changed this school and this town.
