Prior to researching about the rights of women in the state of Wisconsin, I had little knowledge of what to expect in the process of doing research. I have always been interested in women’s rights, and how the gender of women persevered through tough times in history.

This blog site is for the writing 114 class at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire of which everyone in the class was asked to pick a topic of their own choosing to do research on to answer a specific question. My topic was the rights of women in Wisconsin which went along with my research question: “How did women’s rights evolve in the late 1800’s and into the 1900’s in the state of Wisconsin?”.

Throughout my blogs, you will notice that I found specific information pertaining to the rights of women that helped narrow my search further.
