First Eric: I've seen discussions of flaming on comments on discussion boards in a classroom setting — who read what as flaming and why. But I don't recall specifically a study of blog comments.

Second Eric: Yes, the troll doesn't appear to realize that my point was that Beck is actually a great rhetorician (though I'd add unethical). I fail to see how my single point is "convoluted" or full of "meaningless words."

Though I don't really see the quoted material as meaningless or convoluted either.

Pardon me, I have to go. I think one of my left-wing socialist teachers is calling. — oh, wait, my mistake. I re-read his comment. The entire "left wing socialism thinking school system" is calling!

Like most "trolls", Why required, has not bothered to note that you were quoting someone's post and that you didn't actually "use" the phrase "right fringe."

Like most 'intellectuals' you make everything sound academic in order to flaunt your perceived mental superiority. However, you do exactly what you accuse Beck of doing when you use terms like 'right-fringe' to make your convoluted points. You are an example of a student of a left wing socialism thinking school system that is dangerous to America. You believe you are credible but your words are meaningless..
