This is interesting, Michael. You and I are similar in the E and P categories for sure, which made us good writing collaborators. (when you have time, we should go back and turn our talk into a paper, but I know you are getting ready for the Fems and Rhets conference)
I wish I were more intuitive. I just love concrete details. With your attention to social justice, I would have thought you were more F than T.
I think I’ve always been on the borderline of F and T, as well as I and E. My commitment to social justice is pretty well grounded in my feelings (especially compassion for others), but it’s also pretty well grounded in my thinking (being social justice minded is a matter of critical thinking, I believe). Also, it’s hard to escape the disciplining process of graduate school, which I think pushes many people more into T. I’ve definitely moved in that direction since starting here.
