Hello, my name is Kayla Kenney. I am a first year student at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, majoring in Public History. We are conducting research on an event, person, or tradition of Wisconsin. I chose to research the event at the lodge in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin : Little Bohemia.

We are using blogs to better understand our research methods. Majority of my blog posts are about the sources I found and the credibility and support if offers me while researching. When we are done with these blogs, we will continue to write an explanatory essay.

I am interested in this event due to my passion for history and being a citizen of Wisconsin who has visited the lodge. It is a very cool piece of Wisconsin’s history and I recommend that all visits!
